Replay or Throw it Away?

This Replay or Throw it Away? Is coming from Chicago, IL’s emerging artist Rick Stevenson.

With an audience of 15,000 and counting on social media, Rick Stevenson is a star in the making. The 17 year old rapper, producer, and digital creator has been performing at local open mics and showcases since the age of 13. His unique blend of Hip – Hop, soul, and R&B shines throughout his debut project, #16 – Hosted by DJ V-Dub, he released earlier this year. As an artist, Rick strives to maintain positivity with his music and encourages others in his age group to do the same.
Way Too Much is a wavy track speaking on how one can continue to grind/make moves despite of all the hatred and negative energy people send to them. Although people are mad, money still has to be made and goals still have to be reached. “They say we flexing way too much/they don’t get us/ I don’t really care/ cuz we stacking all the figures/all my ni**as yea we finna eat/chasing millions/all my brothers/yea we finna eat/stacking figures” is what the artist sings on the hook. With the melody and flow changes cascading on this amazing instrumental, you will understand why this young man is heating up the streets like he is. This well produced track wouldn’t be as dope without JoJizzle’s verse to add the finishing touches to it.
